P.E.A.R. Technology

One of Blux Camera’s most unique features is “P.E.A.R.”, which works like having a professional photographer there to recommend the optimal scene mode based on analyzing a variety of data including light and weather conditions along with subject recognition collected from the shooting environment.

There are two ways that P.E.A.R. activates to begin analyzing your environment in order to give you a recommendation.

Whenever the subject or lighting conditions change, P.E.A.R. makes a new recommendation based on the new conditions. (Note: P.E.A.R. only gives automatic recommendations on iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPod Touch 5. For iPhone 4, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, and iPad Mini, you need to manually activate P.E.A.R. by tapping the P.E.A.R. icon.)

a. Point Blux Camera at to your subject;

b. P.E.A.R. will make a recommendation based on the lighting, weather, time of day, subject, etc.;

c. Tap on the words “Try XXX” to apply P.E.A.R.'s recommendation.

2. You can also manually activate P.E.A.R. at any time by simply tapping it. While P.E.A.R. is scanning your environment, information such as brightness value, temperature, weather, location, etc. will be displayed onscreen.
