What's the "Widget Box"?

The Widget Box offers a variety of tools to help you compose your shot.  From this menu, you can also customize your interface by showing or hiding various widgets, and dragging the elements around as you see fit.  To open the Widget Box, tap the plus icon near the bottom left corner of the screen.

If you don't see the plus icon near the bottom left corner of the screen, you have to turn it on in the Settings Menu.  To turn on the Widget Box just:

1. Open the Settings Menu by swiping down from the top of the screen or tap the settings icon at the top right corner;

2. Slide the switch next to the Widget Box option to the On position;

The available widgets are: Shutter Button, Electronic Level, Histogram, Lens, and Composition Grid.

Shutter Button Toggle

Tapping this widget will add or remove the shutter button from the camera interface.  You can drag the shutter button anywhere on the screen to fit your specific preferences.  To display your shutter button:

1. Tap the Shutter Button widget to add the shutter button to your interface;

2. Once the shutter button is displayed, you can drag it around to place it anywhere on the screen;

3. Tap the Shutter Button widget again will remove the shutter button from your interface;

4. Tap the X button to close the Widget Box.

Electronic Level

Use the Electronic Level to help balance your shots and improve your angles.  To add the Electronic Level to your interface:

1. Tap the Electronic Level widget to add it to your interface;

2. The number on top of the Electronic Level displays your current tilt angle;

3. Tap the Electronic Level widget again will remove it from your interface;

4. Tap the X button to close the Widget Box.

Histogram

The Histogram widget allows you to view the tonal distribution of your image in real time.  To add the histogram to your interface:

1. Tap the Histogram widget to add it to your interface;

2. The histogram graph displays your current tonal distribution;

3. Drag the histogram around to place it anywhere on the screen;

4. Tap the Histogram widget again will remove it from your interface;

5. Tap the X button to close the Widget Box.

Lens

Lens

Tapping this widget will add or remove the lens controls from the camera interface.  The lens controls allow you to adjust the color temperature of your photo and to zoom in and out.  To add the lens controls to your interface:

1. Tap the Lens widget to add it to your interface;

2. Slide the button on the left arc up and down to adjust the color temperature of your image;

3. Slide the button on the right arc up and down to zoom in and out;

4. You can also drag the Lens controls around to place it anywhere on the screen;

5. Tap the Lens widget again will remove it from your interface;

6. Tap the X button to close the Widget Box.

Composition Grid

The Composition Grid widget allows you to line up your shot, eliminate unwanted tilting, and/or employing the Rule of Thirds.  To add the composition grid to your interface:

1. Tap the Composition Grid widget to add it to your interface;

2. Use the grid to line up your shot;

3. Tap the Composition Grid widget again will remove it from your interface;

4. Tap the X button to close the Widget Box.
